Job summary

InPost Ltd. is hiring a Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT Licence) at our Coventry depot. You will handle goods, load/unload deliveries, and support stock movements in a fast-paced team.

This hands-on role requires a valid Counterbalance licence, good physical fitness, and a reliable, proactive attitude. You’ll contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations and accurate documentation daily.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your day by accurately completing all required documentation in line with company procedures, ensuring records are clear, compliant, and up to date at all times,
• Be hands on in the operation by efficiently breaking down, sorting, allocating, and loading inbound deliveries, using a counterbalance forklift where required to move goods safely and effectively.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift in line with health and safety guidelines, ensuring all loads are handled securely and transported with care across the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean warehouse environment, understanding that a well kept workspace is essential for productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, carrying out every task with care, consistency, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
• Accurately assemble customer orders, carefully selecting and packing items to ensure they are prepared to the highest standard for dispatch.
• Act as a quality control champion by thoroughly checking orders, identifying any issues, and ensuring every package meets our high standards before leaving the warehouse.
