Job summary

South West Recruitment is seeking a Counterbalance forklift driver for a global food packaging company in Poole. The role is permanent with a Counterbalance Licence essential and full training available for a Bendi forklift for the right candidate.

The job pays £14.61 per hour (including shift allowance) for 42 hours per week, with an initial 8am-4pm shift pattern Monday to Friday during training, then a 4 weeks cycle rotating to days and nights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Counter Balance forklift license (essential).
• Training will be provided for a Bendi (Pivot) Truck for suitable candidates.
• Physically capable of handling goods movement and site storage.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counter Balance forklifts to move materials and finished goods around site.
• Record goods movements using RF handheld computers and ensure accuracy of stock locations.
