A well-established manufacturing business in Corwen is seeking a reliable FLT Driver (Counterbalance) to join its Materials Management team. The successful candidate will operate a forklift safely, load and unload materials, and maintain stock records. A valid Counterbalance FLT license and experience in a similar role are required. FLT Driver (Counterbalance) Location: Corwen Salary: up to £40,000 dependant on hours / shifts worked Working Hours: Night Shift 6pm - 6am Reports To: Materials Supervisor / Site Manager

Position Summary

Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are currently working in partnership with a well established manufacturing business who are nowseeking a reliable and safety-consciousFLT Driver (Counterbalance)to join theirdynamic Materials Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, supporting production operations and ensuring timely delivery of components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently across the manufacturing site
  • Load and unload a wide variety of materials, ensuring careful handling of valuable components
  • Supply materials to production areas and remove completed components for dispatch
  • Maintain accurate stock records and participate in regular stock checks
  • Develop a strong understanding of product and component specifications
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols, including working in mask-only areas when required
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth material flow and support continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT license
  • Proven experience in a similar FLT or warehouse role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable Attributes
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with stock control systems and procedures
  • Willingness to undertake additional training and development
