Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a busy foundry in Yeovil. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm, offering long-term employment and opportunities for training and progression.

You will safely move materials and finished products around the site, support the production team, and perform forklift checks while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environments.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Load and unload materials, stock and finished products.
• Move materials safely around the production and foundry areas.
• Support production operations when required.
• Carry out forklift checks and report any issues.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
