Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Brockworth for a full-time, fixed-term contract until at least Christmas. Salary is £13.50 per hour, with a day shift from 08:00–17:00 and an immediate start available for the right candidate.

You will handle goods in and goods out, maintain accurate stock, count pallets, and operate a counterbalance forklift safely. Experience in a busy warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred, and training can be provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong stock management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck safely to handle incoming and outgoing goods.
• Manage goods in and goods out efficiently.
• Ensure stock is issued accurately and on time.
• Maintain precise stock records using internal IT systems.
• Carry out stock checks and assist with stock take activities.
• Correctly code and track all materials.
• Help with dispatch and movement of goods for collection.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised stores environment (5S).
• Support wider warehouse operations as needed.
