Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a Corby-based site on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves safe operation of counterbalance forklifts, loading/unloading deliveries, moving stock around the warehouse, and supporting general warehouse tasks.

The shifts run 06:00–18:00 on a 4-on, 4-off pattern with weekly PAYE pay. Candidates must hold a valid FLT licence and have prior counterbalance forklift experience, with a focus on health and safety,

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous counterbalance forklift driving experience.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota.
• Flexibility to support warehouse operations when required.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and transporting stock around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Supporting general warehouse operations
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
• Carrying out routine vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
