A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a Forklift Operator for their warehouse in Tilbury. The role involves picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should possess a valid Counterbalance forklift license, with prior experience preferred but not mandatory. Shifts rotate between 07:00-16:00 and 09:00-18:00, offering a competitive pay rate of £12.50 per hour.

• Possess a full valid Counterbalance forklift license up to 5.5T.
• Desirable 2 years of forklift driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Picking multi-product/part orders and preparing them safely for dispatch.
• Loading internal and external vehicles in a safe manner.
• Unloading supplier deliveries, identifying shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Dealing with customer collections.
• Participating in stock takes.
• Performing general housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
• Inspecting and maintaining warehouse plant and equipment.

Pay rate: GBP 12.50 PAYE

2. Loading internal and external vehicles in a safe manner.
3. Unloading supplier deliveries, identifying shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
4. Dealing with customer collections.
5. Participating in stock takes.
6. Performing general housekeeping duties within the warehouse to maintain smooth operations.
7. Inspecting and maintaining warehouse plant and equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear.

Shifts rotate between 07:00-16:00 and 09:00-18:00.

The successful candidates will:

• Have desirable 2 years of forklift driving experience (not essential).
