Job summary

A leading logistics company in Tilbury is looking for candidates to perform warehouse duties, including forklift operations and preparing products for dispatch. Successful applicants will need a valid Counterbalance forklift license and will be responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining equipment. The role features rotating shifts from 07:00-16:00 & 09:00-18:00.

Qualifications

• Possess a full valid Counterbalance forklift license up to 5.5T.
• 2 years of forklift driving experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking multi-product/part orders and preparing them safely for dispatch.
• Loading internal and external vehicles in a safe manner.
• Unloading supplier deliveries while identifying shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Dealing with customer collections.
• Involvement in stock takes.
• Performing general housekeeping duties within the warehouse to maintain smooth operations.
• Inspecting and maintaining warehouse plant and equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear.

Job description

Pay rate: GBP 12.50 PAYE

Have a desirable 2 years of forklift driving experience, but this is not essential.
