Brook StreetRecruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Slough, with a temporary role that could become permanent after 10 weeks. The position offers £14.00 per hour and on-site parking, with a shift pattern of 3 days on (7:00–19:00) and 3 nights on (19:00–07:00).

Immediate start available. Responsibilities include operating a Counterbalance forklift, loading/unloading vehicles, and moving stock within the warehouse, using RF scanners, plus daily equipment checks.

Formación

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Strong health and safety knowledge relating to forklift operations.
• Physically fit with manual handling duties when required.
• Reliable, proactive team player with goodcommunication.

Are you a Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for your next role and available immediately?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading logistics and warehousing business in

Slough, for an experienced

Counterbalance Forklift Driver.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with the potential to secure a

permanent position after 10 weeks. While temping for Brook Street you the pay is £14.00 per hour.

Once permanent, you'll receive an

additional shift allowance and company benefits.

Shift Pattern

3 Days On: 7:00am to 7:00pm

3 Nights On: 7:00pm to 7:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock within the warehouse
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Using RF scanners and completing stock movements
• Carrying out daily equipment checks
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory activities
• Completing general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift, including the use of pallet trucks

Requirements

• Valid

Counterbalance Forklift Licence

• Previous experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts within a warehouse environment
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations relating to forklift operations
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties when required
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach
