Contract Personnel Ltd urgently require an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our client based in Brandon. This is an ongoing opportunity combining production team supervision with hands-on forklift operation in a busy factory environment. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 06:30 until finish.

Pay rate is £14.33 per hour (basic, up to 39 hours) and £17.91 per hour overtime after 39 hours. Requirements include a valid counterbalance forklift licence, production/manufacturing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience supervising or coordinating a team.
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate production line staff to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and provide training, guidance and support.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Report production issues, delays or concerns to management.
• Maintain a safe, productive and team-oriented working environment.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely along designated routes and clear pathways.
• Move materials around the factory floor to storage areas and production lines.
• Stack goods safely on shelving, pallets or in storage bays following inventory procedures.
• Unloading deliveries and moving materials as required.
• Carry out any other duties to support production and warehouse operations.

Duties include:

• Overseeing and coordinating production line staff to ensure daily targets and quality standards are achieved.
• Monitoring team performance and providing training, guidance and support where necessary.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Reporting production issues, delays or concerns to management.
• Maintaining a safe, productive and team-oriented working environment.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely, following designated traffic routes and ensuring clear pathways.
• Moving materials around the factory floor, including pallets, boxes and other goods, to designated storage areas and production lines.
• Stacking goods safely and efficiently on shelving, pallets or in storage bays, following inventory control procedures.
• Unloading deliveries and moving materials as required.
• Carrying out any other duties as necessary to support production and warehouse operations.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday - 06:30 until finish.

Pay Rate:

£14.33 per hour - Basic rate, up to 39 hours per week.

£17.91 per hour - Overtime rate after 39 hours.
