Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Warrington (WA4 4SN) to support daily warehouse and distribution activities. The role requires a Counterbalance FLT license and involves rotating day shifts with an on-call rota one week in four, plus on-call payments.

You will handle manual handling tasks, pick and pack items for shipment, and contribute to health and safety practices. A drug & alcohol screen is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative in a logistics environment or similar role.
• Counterbalance FLT license is essential.
• Reach FLT experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience preparing and distributing volume orders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload.
• Manual Handling Equipment experience (MHE).
• Basic computer skills.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Undertake manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.
