Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring for a FLT Driver / General Operative in Allerton Bywater (WF10). The role is full-time, temp to perm, with shifts on a rotating schedule from 6am to 6am and overtime after 40 hours.

The position offers free onsite parking, gym and shower facilities, and full training as you contribute to a cleaner, greener materials handling operation. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load materials, and keep production lines moving while maintaining health and safety

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Reliable, punctual and team‑oriented.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Keep production lines moving efficiently.
• Load materials onto conveyors.
• Operate a Counterbalance FLT (approx. 30% of role).
• Sort, stack and organise materials.
• Support machinery and site operations.
• Follow health & safety procedures and complete basic paperwork.
