Job summary

Igloo Ltd is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for our client, a leading global logistics company specialising in the distribution of automotive parts across the UK and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift truck driver seeking ongoing work on a fixed afternoon/evening shift with weekends free.

The role involves loading and unloading trailers, outdoor handling, stock movement, picking with handheld scanners, quality checks and maintaining a safe

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence issued by a recognised training provider.
• Has previous experience operating a Counterbalance forklift truck.
• Has good attention to detail and follows instructions accurately.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Has a reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Is committed to working the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers, including side and dock loading.
• Carrying out outdoor loading and unloading duties.
• Moving, storing and retrieving stock within the warehouse.
• Picking products using pick sheets and handheld scanners.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and product standards.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
