Job summary

ASC Connections in Tipton is seeking a Counterbalance FLT Driver for a large manufacturing facility focused on cables and renewable energy. The role includes loading/unloading stock, order picking, and manual handling away from the fork lift when needed, in a clean, modern environment.

You will operate the counterbalance FLT and perform stock movements, with eligibility for a higher rate if you hold a flexi/bendi licence.

Job description

A Counterbalance FLT Driver is required for a large manufacturing company based in the Tipton area that focuses on manufacturing cables and renewable energy. It's a very clean, new facility, and a great working environment.

As a counterbalance FLT driver, you will be responsible for moving stock around the workplace, as well as loading / unloading stock onto machinery, including cable pulling machines. A lot of your time will be spent doing manual jobs, away from the FLT.

You will be responsible for and your duties will include:

• Counterbalance FLT driver
• Order picking
• Manually handling cables and other stock
• Loading and unloading machinery
• Loading and unloading vehicles for dispatch

For this role you will need an in-date counterbalance FLT licence - if you also have a flexi / bendi licence you can start on a higher rate.

You will be working a permanent day shift;

• Working - 8:00am - 4:45pm / 3:30pm finish on Fridays (40 hours per week)
• Paying - £13.50 per hour

This Counterbalance FLT Driver role is a temp-to-perm position with a probationary period through the agency. They are looking for permanent members of staff for the long term.
