Job description

Forklift Driver

Days worked: Five shifts, Monday - Saturday

Pay: 13.17 - 13.53

Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week

Shift Times: Multiple start times, from 0500

Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours at 1.25 x standard rate

(This role requires flexibility, as end times may vary due to business needs)

Key Duties

• Operating forklifts to check, transport, and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Assisting on lorries by moving pallets
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard for a safe working environment
• Complying with food hygiene regulations

Ideal Candidate

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years)
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally

Important Notes

• This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards.
• Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, make-up, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area
• Reliable transportation to the Tewkesbury site is necessary, as public transport may not align with shift times
