The Position

We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Counter Sales Parts Advisor in our Cookstown Branch.

You will work 40 Hours per week, working between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30 Monday to Friday. In addition you will be required to work each alternate Saturday between 09:00 and 13:00

Job Role

Job Role:

The purpose of the role will be to help maximise sales by establishing excellent relationships with existing and new customers to assist in the achievements of the branch sales and profit targets.

The successful applicant will work as part of a team dealing with a variety of sectors, predominantly automotive but also including engineering customers. The range of customer enquiries is very wide and contact is both at the counter and over the phone.

Main Duties

• To maximise sales for the branch
• Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales
• To service customers promptly and efficiently, ensuring all parts are supplied and invoiced correctly
• To work within a team and to communicate and liaise with other team members

Essential Criteria

• A record of great customer service
• A good knowledge of vehicle parts

• Good computer skills to utilise our electronic parts catalogues and product lookup systems

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in an automotive sales environment or motor mechanic
• Previous experience working with MAM Autopart and Autocat software
• Full driving license
