Responsibilities


The Counter Manager is responsible for achieving retail objectives in store. By leading your team by setting a great example, you will maximize sales opportunities and ensure the team provides excellent customer service and shopping experiences.


Key duties include:

  1. Management: Motivating staff, delegating roles, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high customer service standards.
  2. Sales Goals: Achieving counter and service sales targets through delegation, customer connections, product demonstrations, beauty/brow services, and booking repeat appointments.
  3. Brow Services: Waxing, Tinting, and Tweezing to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings. (Full training provided to become a Brow Expert!)
  4. Teamwork: Conducting daily team meetings, communicating effectively, and recognizing positive work to motivate the team and meet targets.
  5. Promotion & Events: Creating in-store and external events, including new product launches and charity events, to build business.
  6. Stock Management: Keeping the counter stocked and reporting concerns promptly.
  7. Communication: Maintaining open communication with store/department managers and area managers.
  8. Administration: Completing all required administrative tasks regularly and assisting with area manager duties when needed.
  9. Staff Rotas: Preparing fair staff schedules monthly.
  10. Hygiene & Housekeeping: Keeping the counter and displays clean and hygienic at all times.

Qualifications


Counter Managers may need to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays alongside weekday shifts.
