Responsibilities

The Counter Manager is responsible for achieving retail objectives in store. By leading your team with a great example, you will maximize sales opportunities and ensure top customer service and shopping experience.

Duties include:

• Management: Motivating staff, delegating roles, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high customer service standards.
• Sales Goals: Achieving counter and service sales targets through delegation, customer connections, product demonstrations, beauty/brow services, and booking repeat appointments.
• Brow Services: Waxing, tinting, and tweezing to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings. (Full training provided to become a Brow Expert!)
• Teamwork: Conducting daily meetings, communicating effectively, and recognizing positive work to motivate the team and meet targets.
• Promotion & Events: Creating in-store and external events, including new product launches and charity events, to build business.
• Stock Management: Keeping the counter stocked and reporting concerns promptly.
• Communication: Maintaining open communication with store/department managers and area managers.
• Administration: Completing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly admin tasks, assisting with area manager admin as needed.
• Staff Rotas: Preparing fair staff schedules monthly.
• Hygiene & Housekeeping: Keeping the counter and displays clean and hygienic at all times.

Qualifications

Counter Managers may work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays alongside weekday shifts.
