About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead our dynamic counter at Harvey Nichols. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and is passionate about skincare and beauty.
As Counter Manager, you will take full ownership of the account, driving sales growth and increasing brand visibility through both in-store activity and external outreach. You’ll be experienced in working towards KPIs and have a proven track record of growing a business through outstanding service and initiative.
Our counter boasts a loyal client base who regularly return for treatments, so we’re seeking someone who is as confident delivering high-quality facials as they are engaging customers on the shop floor with expert consultations and advice.
This is a lone-working role initially, ideal for a self-motivated individual. However, with strong performance and successful counter management, there is potential to expand the team around you.
This role would be well-suited to an experienced Counter Manager seeking a fresh challenge, or a experienced and ambitious Retail Skin Therapist ready to step up and take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
·You will have overall responsibility for the success of the counter ensuring you are meeting your sales targets.
·Strategic Business planning working with the Department managers, Press and Marketing teams and Head of Retail to launch with excellence and lead on counter events
·Conduct in-depth skin consultations using the latest skin imaging technology
·Perform Focus – on Facials
·Recommend bespoke skincare packages for clients, post consultation
Desired Skills and Experience
·Previous retail experience ideally in a high-end environment
·A background in skincare / cosmetics sales
·Positive can-do attitude; we believe in having a positive and optimistic attitude about everything we do because it inspires others to have the same
·Proactive approach to sales
