Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for a Counter Balance Operative for a fresh produce company in Easton, Norwich.

This is a genuine temporary to permanent opportunity, which will lead to a permanent position for successful candidates after a minimum of 12 weeks.

• Hours of work: 06h00 - 14h00
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
• Must hold an in date FLT Licence - Counter Balance

As an FLT Driver, you will be required to work outside as part of the Tray wash team. You will be tasked with moving the aluminium crates before and after washing to designated area(s) within the factory. Other duties may include moving product from racking to allocated areas.

Your role will also include helping within the tray wash department when required. This role is not solely FLT work; you will be expected to carry out the following duties as a tray wash operative:

• Cleaning down aluminium crates using jet hoses
• Transferring trays into the goods in area for sanitization
• Moving sanitized trays to the high care department
• Building crates in readiness for the cleaning and sanitizing process
• Disposing of crop waste inside and outside
• Full PPE provided
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing site is advantageous
• Own transport is essential due to location and shift start time
