ASEND is seeking a focused children's counsellor to work with an 11-year-old on the autism pathway at his school in Halton. Sessions are one hour weekly, with a focus on emotional regulation.
The ideal candidate has experience with SEND and holds a Level 4 Counselling Diploma with registration in a professional body. The role offers in-person, part-time work in a supportive environment within our specialist SEND network.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring children's counsellor to work with an 11 year old on the autism pathway at his school in Halton. This young person is struggling with emotional regulation. He enjoys Pokemon, manga and anime. The support will consist of one hour sessions, once a week. The right candidate will have experience working with pupils that have additional needs such as autism, ADHD and SEMH. A level 4 diploma in counselling and registration with a professional body is also essential.
