Bupa Maidstone seeks a Counsellor/Psychotherapist to provide high-quality counselling to customers, working within a multidisciplinary clinical team. The role involves independent work, assessments, formulations, and varied service delivery models.

The candidate will maintain sessions within benefits-based limits, participate in supervision, and contribute to group psychoeducation and wellbeing initiatives. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BACP Accredited Counsellors/Psychotherapists and registered professionals.
• NCPS Professional Accredited Registrants.
• UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellors/Psychotherapists.
• Minimum of three years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience.
• Accreditation required at time of application.
• Training in incident support.
• Corporate experience and business understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to drive evidence-based interventions.
• Offer models of service delivery, including face-to-face sessions.
• Adhere to Bupa's case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and therapy team.
• Follow sessional limits based on client benefits.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and mental health promotion.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and policies.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experiences.
