Job summary

Everest Advisors (Uk), Ltd. in London is seeking a Counsel to support the Legal function by managing third‑party risk, reviewing contracts and driving regulatory horizon scanning.

The role combines contract review and negotiation with regulatory monitoring, template and playbook management, ensuring terms are risk‑balanced and compliant across the business. You will own and maintain TPRM templates and playbooks, coordinate with procurement and information security, and help train teams on usage

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with at least 1 year PQE or experienced paralegal with relevant commercial contract experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with financial services/insurance regulatory frameworks relevant to outsourcing and third-party risk (PRA/FCA outsourcing rules, Solvency II).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills and ability to work efficiently against a high contract volume.
• Organised with attention to detail and ability to manage templates and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate vendor, consultant, outsourcing, TOBAS and NDA agreements reflecting risk appetite and standard positions.
• Apply proportionate legal review based on contract risk tier and regulatory frameworks (outsourcing, resilience)
• Liaise with procurement, information security, data protection and stakeholders to reflect operational, security and regulatory requirements
• Identify contracts raising material legal, regulatory or reputational risk
• Support due diligence and remediation for existing third‑party arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of contract review status and risk logs within team systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement of TPRM processes, including templates and playbooks
