You will provide legal counsel on a wide range of issues, including advertising production, brand licensing, digital advertising, data privacy, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. What You Will Do:
- Negotiate contracts with agencies and vendors, including agreements for ad sales, ad tech solutions, branded content, product placement, sponsorships, custom content productions, data sharing, and more.
- Collaborate closely with the Disney+ product, ad ops teams, and Disney’s privacy lawyers to identify, manage, and implement changes to the platform, especially in relation to targeted advertising.
- Lead internal guidance pages, contract templates, and clause libraries for Disney’s advertising business in EMEA.
- Support and advise multiple senior stakeholders in our advertising business, focusing on efficiency and relationship-building.
- Support members of the Legal and Policy teams on a wide range of EMEA legal matters, including ad policies, content policies, privacy frameworks, and the impact of EMEA laws and regulatory guidance.
- Work with the Strategic Sourcing team to draft and negotiate technology, facilities, and security agreements.
- Assist with implementing template agreements and systems to facilitate self-service of certain agreements.
- Provide support on the EMEA AI intake and approvals, including reviewing and advising on legal issues associated with AI systems.
- Advise teams on websites and digital experiences, including accessibility issues.
- Manage the contract lifecycle from inception to execution.
- Organize documentation and systems effectively.
- Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues across functions and territories.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and industry developments and share knowledge with colleagues when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and procedures, including standardizing documents and legal resources.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
