Are you a Council Tax Recovery Officer looking for work in Surrey or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Surrey are looking to recruit a Council Tax Recovery Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Proficiently use the iWorld/Northgate Version 6 ICT System
• Understand the recovery and enforcement legislation in relation to Council tax
• Administer the Recovery of Council Tax
• Open, close and amend Council Tax Accounts
• Take payments and set up direct debits
• Improve collection rates by negotiating payment plans from customers
• Maintaining accurate records and deciding the appropriate form of recovery action to take
• Determine liabilities
• Issue reminders and notices
• Handle summons arrangements
• Answering incoming calls from residents
