Job Title: Council Tax Officer

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real impact in your community? Public Sector Partnership Services (PSPS) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Council Tax Officer to join our dedicated Revenues team, delivering services on behalf of Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council (Horncastle), and South Holland District Council (Spalding).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Keeping council tax accounts accurate and up to date.
  2. Processing changes, discounts, exemptions, and payment methods.
  3. Ensuring bills go out correctly and on time.
  4. Helping recover outstanding payments and supporting customers with arrangements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A keen eye for detail and a solid grasp of rules and regulations.
  • A natural communicator confident on the phone, in writing, and in person.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Prior knowledge of council tax legislation is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
