Job summary

Reed in Manchester is seeking a Costs Draftsman to join our claimant law team. You will draft Bills of Costs, negotiate settlements and support recovery across litigation matters, handling a varied caseload with independence.

A growing claimant law firm is seeking a Costs Draftsman to join its Manchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and successful legal practice with a strong caseload and clear opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of costs matters, including drafting Bills of Costs, negotiating settlements and supporting legal costs recovery across claimant litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer
• Strong knowledge of legal costs procedures
• Experience within claimant litigation costs
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage files independently
