Job description

As a Barista at Sodexo, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drinks and serving food from our varied menu, which includes cakes, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and toasties. At Royal Stoke Hospital, Stoke-On-Trent ST4 6QG, you can help ease some of the stress associated with hospitalization by extending a warm welcome and engaging in professional yet friendly conversations with patients, staff, and visitors. What you'll do:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment.
• Operate a cash register (or equivalent), receive payments, and provide customer service.
• Maintain proper security of cash and understand and follow Sodexo cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to use an espresso machine or willingness to learn barista service and food preparation.
• Experience using a cash register or EPOS system.
• Passion for maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
