Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is currently recruiting for a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor within our Real Estate team to support our blue-chip clients in realizing their global workplace objectives. This exciting role offers opportunities to work with a third of the Fortune 500 companies and grow within a market-leading business.

The individual must be self-motivated, client-facing, and capable of managing multiple projects and clients. Responsibilities include client relations management, advanced excel modeling, functional cost planning, and value engineering of CAT A and CAT B fit-outs. The role will primarily be pre-construction, with opportunities to assist on construction-based projects when available.

The position involves working within a growing team of Cost Managers, alongside external architects, interior designers, and engineers where applicable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Utilization of existing Turner & Townsend alinea digital tools and contributing to new tool creation for clients
• Advanced cost modeling (Excel)
• Estimating and functional cost planning (CostX)
• Advising and driving value engineering
• Interfacing with internal economists, clients, and other consultants
• Client interactions with senior leadership of Fortune 500 companies

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality cost management / quantity surveying services on Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects for corporate clients
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for cost modeling
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software is an advantage
• Utilization of digital software for cost management services
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Working towards a professional qualification (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
