Job Description

We are currently seeking a number of personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Cost Managers/Cost Consultants to join our team, supporting our continuing growth and making a difference to both our business and UK infrastructure.

You will be a Cost Manager within our UK Infrastructure business, working on a variety of client and Turner & Townsend projects and initiatives.

Job Objectives
  1. Establish friendly, professional, and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support.
  2. Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  3. Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  4. Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and timely.
  5. Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  6. Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practices.
  7. Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
  8. Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
  9. Negotiate and agree final accounts.
  10. Lead people and commissions as needed.
Qualifications

Previous experience or a sound understanding of the following is a distinct advantage:

Qualifications

  • Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent
