Job Description

Global Cost Manager is a resource (cost control / manager as a service, acting as a client-side cost manager), fully assigned and dedicated to a key EMEA account. This role is responsible for supporting the team in various financial activities to ensure consistency and global governance. The role will also work in close alignment with the REWaM team & PMO.

The ideal candidate for the cost manager role should be experienced and independent, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience. Preferably, they will have past experience in a geographic market, global program, or client account, including large and complex projects.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Governance of Commercial Management process and reporting
  2. Project Costings to support timelines and CAR process
  3. Continuous improvement of Portfolio process, tools, and reporting
  4. Development and implementation of global capital planning process & reporting
  5. Co-management and prioritization of CAR pipeline with Regions, working with REWaM leads and stakeholders
  6. Preparation of CAR and ensuring process compliance
  7. Provision of market benchmark data for capital and project planning

Qualifications include:

  • RICS Qualification
  • Over 5 years of experience in Cost Management / Quantity Surveying, dealing with multinational real estate projects
  • Experience in a geographic market, global program, or client account, especially with large & complex projects, is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
