Job description

The Fleet team within Amazon Logistics (last mile delivery operations) is seeking a Cost Management Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract - FTC) to support Amazon fleet programs (branded and short-term rentals) in Europe. Amazon aims to be the most customer-centric company, continuously improving order fulfillment and delivery to exceed customer expectations. Our goal is to deliver orders quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively, innovating in the Last Mile Delivery space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the recurring and non-recurring charges for Amazon's branded fleet and short-term rental fleets in Europe.
  • Ensuring policy compliance, timely vendor payments, and optimal budget utilization.
  • Supporting cost processing, vendor relationships, validation accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and workflow standardization.
  • Interacting with internal teams (finance, planning, operations) and external providers (fleet management, rental suppliers).
  • Coordinating invoice discrepancies, validation calls, PO modifications, and process improvements.

Daily tasks:

  • Reviewing and validating FMC monthly costs.
  • Managing rental purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
  • Leading invoice validation and supplier escalations.
  • Inputting and analyzing financial data, tracking POs, and supporting weekly calls with suppliers.
  • Ensuring process compliance and data accuracy.

About the team:

The Fleet Delivery and Redeployment team is part of the Fleet Procurement and Capacity vertical within EU Global Fleet & Products. We manage the physical supply chain of fleet programs, aiming for a lean, unified supply chain with end-to-end inventory ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience managing complex programs, ideally in supply chain, inventory management, or cost control.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
