Job summary

Co-op in Manchester is seeking a Cost and Funding Analyst to join the DT&D team, delivering trusted cost management and supporting funding decisions. You’ll run internal recharge processes, attribute costs accurately and provide insightful financial data to stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working with monthly office visits, opportunities to influence how reporting is developed, and a clear path for continuous improvement and career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Experience supporting recharge, cost allocation, funding, or related processes.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights, recommendations and business stories.
• Confidence presenting information and influencing stakeholders at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Run and improve end-to-end internal recharge processes with accurate outputs.
• Maintain and update recharge rules, rate cards and documentation.
• Analyze large datasets to produce meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance and DT&D to ensure data integrity and alignment on financial treatment.
• Provide cost and funding information to support tracking, investment decisions and value-for-money assessments.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen controls.
• Build relationships across DT&D and Finance to support decision making.
