Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Engineering professional to work on the New Hospitals Programme among other projects. You will establish processes, templates, and tools, and set the baseline for cost and schedule, monitoring performance and managing risks and changes effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing project cost control data structures
• Establishing and setting project control budgets
• Tracking actual costs and expenditure
• Monitoring project accruals and commitments
• Building project forecasts, including ETC and EAC
• Reporting all cost-related information timely and accurately
• Working with planning to apply Earned Value Management
• Tracking project contingency and exposure from risks
• Monitoring change control processes
• Tracking key project trends and taking appropriate actions

Qualifications

Skills Required

• Proven experience in project controls across all project phases, including programs, risks, and reporting for major projects such as rail or highways
• Experience across the full project lifecycle: pre-investment, design, execution, and commissioning
• Knowledge of cost engineering procedures and standards
• Familiarity with cost management systems like Ecosys, SAP, and Oracle, and understanding of business rules and project funding alignment
