Job Title: Cost Manager / Commercial Manager

Location: Portsmouth / Southampton area, with occasional travel to London

Working Pattern: 3 days per week based on site

Overview: We’re looking for a driven and capable Cost Manager or Commercial Manager to join a high-performing team working on major capital infrastructure projects. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-facing role and is passionate about delivering commercial excellence across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Degree qualified, preferably within a construction-related discipline
• MRICS preferred but not essential (support available for achieving chartership)
• Solid experience across both pre- and post-contract phases
• Prior experience within a consultancy environment is strongly desirable
• Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts
• Utility experience is ideal, but strong experience on major capital infrastructure projects or programmes will also be considered
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Confident working independently with minimal supervision
• Commercially aware with the ability to understand and anticipate market trends
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client service
• Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to inspire and lead others
