Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to join the Cost and Commercial Assurance team. You will support cost verification commissions, analyse complex financial data, assess contractual compliance and present evidence-based recommendations.

The role is ideal for someone with a Quantity Surveying, accounting or commercial background who enjoys data-driven insight and clear client reporting, with travel to client sites across the UK as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Accountancy or related discipline.
• Professional membership such as MRICS, ACCA or FCA advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with cost systems (COINS, SAP, ICON, Oracle).
• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined areas of cost verification commissions.
• Analyse cost data against contractual and commercial principles.
• Review cost and commercial management systems and processes.
• Undertake data sampling, payroll and employment contract audits.
• Collaborate with project and finance teams to gather key information.
• Produce working papers, close-out reports and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings clearly to contractors and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues.
