Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is recruiting for a Cost Accountant to join a highly successful manufacturing business based in Pontefract.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse daily variances, including yield, substitution, giveaway, and waste cost
• Prepare reports for labor, packaging, cooking, distribution, and storage costs
• Update and maintain system data
• Manage stock reconciliations and ensure reporting accuracy across all areas
• Review costs and yields for product pricing, tenders, and renewals
• Work closely with operational teams to align reporting and standards

• Experience in cost accounting or a related finance role
