Cost Accountant

Salary 40000.00 - 45000.00 GBP Annual + hybrid working

SF Recruitment are currently working with a Manufacturing business based in Redditch who are looking for a Cost Accountant to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will report into the Financial Controller and be responsible for the following:

1. Produce monthly management accounts - Profit and loss and Balance sheet
2. Provide Commentaries on key variances vs Budget, Prior year and Forecast
3. Prepare analysis of sales and margins by product category
4. Analysis of various costs product cost against standard
5. Various reconciliations
6. Update the Fixed Asset Register
7. Ensure that Prepayments have been processed and reconciled
8. Check that GRNI has been fully reviewed and additional GRNI accruals have been posted
9. Check with finance team that all stock and material entries have been processed
10. Ownership of the Balance sheet/PL model to ensure the Management accounts are produced accurately
11. Budgeting and Forecasting
12. SAP Experience
13. Costing
14. BOM
