Qualifications

• Proven experience as a COSS for at least 1 year.
• A valid COSS certification.
• Knowledge of railway safety regulations and standards (e.g., Network Rail standards).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct safety training and deliver safety briefings.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments on construction sites.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with railway and construction safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to site personnel on safety practices.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, providing reports and recommendations.
