Job summary

HS2 Ltd. is seeking a Controller of Site Safety (COSS) to lead safety on railway works and ensure safe systems of work for the workforce.

The role requires coordinating safety briefings, setting up and reviewing safe systems of work, and liaising with track possession teams. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in site safety, COSS qualifications, and IWA responsibilities to support and manage operations across active rail sites.

Qualifications

• PTS required.
• Site Warden/ Lookout qualification.
• COSS qualification.
• Individual Working Alone (IWA) qualification.
• PTS (Including medical and competance print out)

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in setting up, reviewing and briefing safe system of work to the workforce.
• Support and manage the operational railway, attend white board meetings for upcoming possession works.
