Overview

Cosmetic Repair Technician

Location: Stoke

Working hours: Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4.30pm

Lookers Stoke is recruiting for an experienced Cosmetic Repair Technician to join our Service team. You will work within a state-of-the-art bodyshop, repairing damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.

This role is suitable for someone with an accident/cosmetic repair background and offers an opportunity to develop your skills in cosmetic repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform various cosmetic repairs, including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles
• Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician, undertaking all aspects of repair as required
• Work effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop Technicians
• Use PPE appropriately and adhere to health and safety standards during repairs
• Follow manufacturer repair guidelines

Qualifications

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role, completed a Panel technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent, and possess a working knowledge of automotive systems and repair materials. A full UK driving licence is required. The candidate should demonstrate honesty, diligence, and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
