Job summary

Igloo is seeking a Smart Repair Technician for a modern bodyshop in Thurleigh. You will join an experienced team delivering high-quality cosmetic repairs to meet customer standards.

The role suits someone with SMART/Quickfix or bodyshop experience, with a Full UK driving licence, and a passion for detail and quality work. Weekly pay, a pension and onsite parking are offered, with support from Igloo’s recruitment and payroll teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Smart Repair Technician, Bodyshop Technician or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Able to work independently and confidently on cosmetic repairs
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Supportive team player willing to assist junior colleagues
• Passionate about the automotive industry and delivering excellent results

Responsibilities

• Polish newly painted panels to remove imperfections and match the factory finish
• Carry out windscreen, plastic and interior repairs
• Remove scratches and correct minor paintwork defects
• Complete leather repairs where required
• Ensure all documentation and job cards are completed accurately
• Work to company processes and quality standards
• Plan workloads effectively to maintain workshop efficiency
• Support with training junior technicians when needed
