Job summary

Opticore IT is seeking a Palo Alto Cortex Consultant to lead the deployment and integration of Cortex XSIAM across enterprise customer environments. You will act as the senior technical lead, guiding deployments from discovery through operationalisation while collaborating with customer security teams.

Fluent in English and Spanish, you will coordinate with global teams in a remote/customer-facing capacity and ensure successful project delivery within a 12-month engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of customer-facing cybersecurity, security engineering or security operations experience.
• 3+ years deploying Cortex XSIAM in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with SIEM technologies, architecture, data onboarding and use-case development.
• Understanding of SOC operations, security workflows and incident response.
• Proven track record leading engagements with enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and deployment of Cortex XSIAM across enterprise environments.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for customers during deployment.
• Design and implement XSIAM solutions aligned to security requirements.
• Lead migration from legacy SIEM to Cortex XSIAM.
• Configure data sources, endpoints, applications, and network infrastructure into XSIAM.
• Develop integrations with third-party security IT platforms.
• Configure detection, analytics and incident response workflows.
• Provide knowledge transfer to customer security teams.
• Produce deployment plans and operational handover documentation.
