Baker Hughes is seeking a Corrosion Engineer to work in the Integrity Management Technology team based at the Liverpool Centre of Excellence site.

Join our team

As our Corrosion Engineer you will be comfortable working around production chemicals in a laboratory setting. You'll be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and work well with other members of the technology team.

The pace and volume of the work can be quite high at times and requires the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines effectively.

You will also be responsible for

  • Project management skills: Candidate, with guidance, will be in handling multiple projects at a given time and would need to be able to manage them.
  • Perform corrosion inhibitor evaluations and selections in a laboratory research environment: candidate would be required to work on atmospheric testing as well as high temperature and pressure autoclave tests on oil and water samples and product formulations
  • Analyze technical data and produce technical reports with guidance to start
