Job summary

Kingsley Wood is inviting experienced technology and AI lawyers to join as Consultant Partners. This fully remote UK role offers autonomy to build and develop a personal Tech & AI practice with support from an established consultancy.

You will operate in a fee-share partnership, retaining a substantial portion of fees and benefiting from admin, compliance, technology and operational support. The earning potential grows with your client base.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in technology, IT, commercial, data or AI.
• Experience across a broad range of technology, IT, commercial, data and advisory matters.
• Ability to generate work through contacts, referrals and business development.
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated to build their own client following.
• Willing to operate within a fee-share consultancy model.
• Existing client following is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage your own Tech & AI practice benefiting from Kingsley Wood’s infrastructure.
• Generate and grow client relationships and work through referrals, networking and business development.
• Leverage Kingsley Wood’s compliance, tech and operational support to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Consultant Partner | Fee-Share Partnership | Fully Remote (UK)

Kingsley Wood is an innovative legal consultancy at the forefront of changing how lawyers work today. Our Consultant Partner model offers experienced lawyers the opportunity to build and develop their own legal practice with genuine autonomy, flexibility and significant earning potential, supported by the infrastructure of an established legal consultancy.

This is a consultancy partnership role and is not a traditional salaried employment position. Consultant Partners operate on a fee-share basis, retaining a significant proportion of the fees they generate while benefiting from Kingsley Wood’s administrative, compliance, technology and operational support.

We provide the tools, support and framework our Consultant Partners need to build successful, sustainable practices, allowing experienced technology and AI lawyers to focus on delivering outstanding client outcomes while developing their own client relationships and business.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced technology, AI or digital lawyer who wants to move away from the traditional law firm model and take greater control over their career, client relationships, working arrangements and earning potential.

As a Consultant Partner, you will have the autonomy to develop your own Tech & AI legal practice while benefiting from the infrastructure and support of Kingsley Wood.

The role provides significant scope to develop your own client following and generate additional work through your existing professional network, referrals, technology-sector contacts and business development activity.

This structure is particularly suited to an ambitious commercial solicitor who is confident in their ability to develop relationships and generate work and who wants to benefit directly from the success of their practice.

The Candidate

You will be an experienced, commercially astute technology, AI or digital lawyer who:

• Has 4 years’+ PQE in technology, IT, commercial, data, AI or a closely related area
• Has strong experience across a broad range of technology, IT, commercial, data, AI and advisory matters
• Is comfortable generating work through existing contacts, referrals and business development initiatives
• Is ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated to build their own client following
• Wants greater control over their career, working arrangements and earning potential
• Is comfortable working within a fee-share consultancy model

Candidates with an existing client following, established technology-sector network, strong referral relationships or a clear business development plan will be particularly attractive.
