Overview

Do you have an interest in providing excellent service? And are interested in completing an apprenticeship? Then this could be the role for you… We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a real passion for user experience and IT to join our lively team of approximately twenty engineers, supporting several sites and 5000+ users. The Corporate Technical Support Engineer Apprenticeship is a two-year apprenticeship that will take you from shadowing and observing to learning a range of corporate technical support skills while also working towards a Level 3 qualification. The post is based in our Titchfield office, requires on‑site attendance five days a week, with service support hours 8:00 – 17:30 on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to incidents, requests and changes for the services, products and platforms supported.
  • Monitor configuration, availability, security, capacity and performance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • Track the life cycle of assets from acquisition through to disposal, applying quality updates to asset records.
  • Maximise the use of tools and technologies to deliver operational excellence.
  • Engage in wider communities of practice, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.
Qualifications
  • A passion for technology and a keen technical interest.
  • Use own initiative.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively to deliver quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment.

Apprenticeship Eligibility
  • You must be at least 16 years old by 31 August 2025 and no longer be in full‑time education or plan to return to full‑time education in the next 12 months.
  • You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
  • You must not already hold a similar or the same Level 3 qualification.
  • You must not be taking part in any other employment or enterprise programmes funded directly by the UK Government.
  • You must not be supported by the UK Government's Work Programme with a contract of employment for less than 16 hours per week.
  • You must not be in receipt of an Assembly Learning Grant or Education Maintenance Allowance.
  • You must not be an ineligible overseas national, in custody or on remand.
  • You must live in England.
