Job summary

TPF Recruitment, representing a leading chartered accountancy firm in Southampton, seeks a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead the corporate tax compliance service, manage the tax team, and deliver a wide range of advisory projects in a flexible hybrid setting.

The role oversees corporate tax returns and related processes, mentors junior staff, and contributes to strategic tax planning and client portfolio growth for the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate tax within practice.
• Experience managing a client portfolio.
• Line management and staff development experience.
• Advisory and tax planning exposure, with an understanding of personal tax and IHT in business structures.
• Working knowledge of VAT and PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the preparation of corporate tax returns and related compliance (ATED, ERS, EMI, EIS).
• Review corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff across the tax team and wider practice.
• Deliver assignments including corporate restructuring, share scheme design, tax clearances, transfer pricing reviews, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, tax due diligence, technical queries and R&D claims.

As a key member of the tax team, the Corporate Tax Senior Manager will lead thecorporate tax compliance service, manage the corporate tax team, and deliver awide range of advisory projects.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the preparation of corporate taxreturns, alongside other compliance processes such as ATED, ERS, EMI, andEIS.
