Job summary

Achieve Professionals in Manchester is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead complex and high-impact tax engagements. You will provide strategic tax advice, oversee planning and compliance, and guide a growing tax team while nurturing key client relationships.

You will act as a senior contact for important clients, delivering commercially focused guidance, staying abreast of legislative changes, and collaborating with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification would be expected for this level.
• Significant experience managing complex corporate tax assignments and client relationships.
• Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to provide commercially focused tax advice.
• Proven experience managing, coaching and developing tax professionals.
• Strong Corporate Tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex corporate tax engagements from planning through to completion.
• Provide high-quality corporate tax advice, compliance and planning support to a varied portfolio of clients.
• Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, developing strong and long-term relationships.
• Lead client meetings and provide commercially focused advice based on clients' individual needs.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and proactively advise clients on the potential impact.
• Work collaboratively with other service lines to deliver solutions on complex client matters.
• Review and oversee the quality of work produced by the wider team.
• Identify development needs and provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to junior team members.
• Delegate effectively and ensure work is delivered efficiently, accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Support the development and implementation of improvements.

A leading accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax team.

This is a senior role offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex corporate tax engagements, provide strategic advice to a varied client base and play a key role in the continued growth of the tax practice.

You will manage important client relationships, provide technical leadership and mentor and develop members of the wider tax team.
