Job Description:

Levitate Recruitment is currently seeking qualified corporate tax professionals to work for an accountancy practice firm in central Manchester. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from multinationals to smaller mid-tier companies across various industry sectors. The firm offers excellent progression opportunities and provides regular training and tax updates to support your professional development.

• Prepare and complete a wide range of corporation tax computations.
• Review smaller computations and assist clients with queries.
• Coordinate with the Data Management team for tax data collection and analysis.
• Handle client queries related to data requests, including follow-up correspondence.
• Prepare corporation tax disclosures, tax payment advice, calculations, and returns using standard software for review by senior staff.
• Manage your workload and contribute to the development of junior staff as needed.
• Assist in budget preparation and negotiations for new or repeat work based on standard pricing and costs.
• Monitor activities in line with the firm’s financial and risk management policies.

Requirements:

• Open to those keen to specialise in corporate tax or develop their expertise.
• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA or finalist status, with a desire to enhance technical skills.
• Some UK corporate tax experience is preferred, though candidates from general practice roles are also considered.
