Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager - Newcastle

We are looking for a talented Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager to join a growing tax team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to take on responsibility within a supportive environment and develop your career in corporate tax at a leading mid-tier practice.

You’ll work with a broad portfolio of clients, from owner-managed businesses through to larger corporates, supporting both compliance and advisory projects. The role combines technical work with direct client interaction, offering variety and progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Assisting with advisory projects such as R&D claims, group reorganisations, and capital allowances.
  • Managing elements of client relationships and being a key point of contact.
  • Supporting the development and mentoring of junior colleagues.
  • Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments.
About You
  • ACA / ACCA qualified (CTA desirable, or working towards it).
  • Experience in corporate tax compliance, with exposure to advisory work an advantage.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
